Lovell A. Hersh

Lovell A. Hersh, 82, of Meadville, died at his home of natural causes Sunday, June 25, 1978, following a long illness.

A son of Goerge E. and Ellen Sabins Hersh, he was born in Dayton, OH, November 14, 1895.  He married Margaret Briggs August 8, 1936.  In 1962, he retired from Talon, Inc. where he worked as a project engineer.  He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, Mystic Masonic Lodge 405 of Dayton, Scottish Rite Bodies of Erie and Charles N. Stafford American Legion Post.  A veteran of World War I, he served in the US Army as a nurse in the medical corps.

Survivors include his wife and a brother, Charles E. Hersh of Dayton.

He was preceded in death by a son, Theodore.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
