Lucy F. Powell

Mrs. Lucy F. Powell, 81, of Meadville, died Thursday night, June 13, 1968, at Spencer Hospital after an illness of two years.

She was born in East Fairfield Township, November 20, 1886, a daughter of Jacob and Anna Stein Freyermuth.  She married Mr. Powell August 10, 1910.  She and her husband were attendants at Polk State School from 1950 to 1957.  She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and its Women's Guild and Meadville Woman's Club and its Garden Division.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Miss Margaret Powell of Erie; a son, Walter S. of West Middlesex; a sister, Mrs. T. C. (Gertrude) Shilling of Cambridge Springs and three grandchildren, Nancy, Patricia and William Powell.

Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
