Lura Ward

Mrs. Lura Rosamund Ward, 74, a resident of Kerrtown until four years ago, died Thursday, July 14, 1966, at Parker in Clarion County, where she lived with a daughter, after a sudden illness.

She was born in Pennsylvania, October 21, 1891, and lived most of her life in the Meadville area.  Her husband, Frank A. Ward, whom she married in 1912, died in 1954.  Mrs. Ward was a member of Grace Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Gertrude) Smith of Parker, with whom she made her home; a brother, Wilber Morley of Meadville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
