Lyle L. Sanderson

Lyle L. Sanderson operated a barbershop on North Street for 34 years, retiring in 1965 on his 65th birthday.  He had operated Sanderson's barbershop at Linesville on a part-time basis for the past five years.  He was a graduate of Moler Barber School, Cleveland, and was a member of First Baptist Church Meadville and Dick Hose Co. and Meadville Fire Police.

He was born at Steamburg, Conneaut Township, November 26, 1897, a son of Theodore and Leffie Duncan Sanderson.  He first was married to the former Mildred Ruth Manning on March 26, 1918.  She died in 1962.  He subsequently married Georgie Patrch Litweiller.

Surviving, besides his widow, are a son, Milford W. of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Neva Mickle of Linesville, Mrs. Carl (Ruby) Loucks of Meadville, Mrs. Carl (Donna) Spaudling of Linesville; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Linesville Cemetery.
