Lynn L. Ehrgott, 77, of Meadville died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Marquette Hospice House. He was born in Meadville April 8, 1940 a son of Herman D. and Viola McCracken Ehrgott. He first married Carol Buchanon and subsequently married Anna Johnston Palmer April 15, 1989 and she survives.
He attended Meadville High School and was owner and operator of Lynn Ehrgott Construction for many years. He was active in the Laymen's Ministries at the Crawford County Jail and in his retirement he drove for Rolling Fields transporting their residents to various activities and appointments. He enjoyed farming, fishing, woodworking and bee keeping.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Anna, of 28 years, include: two sons, Phillip Ehrgott and his wife Nicole of Sutherland Springs, TX and Dan Ehrgott and his wife Dianne of Meadville; five grandchildren, one great grandson, a sister, Joan Smith of Meadville; a brother, Paul Ehrgott and his wife Audene of Meadville, nieces and nephews and several extended relatives on his wife, Anna’s, side of the family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Bean.
Following his wishes, his body was donated to science.
The Celebration of Life service will be Sunday, April 8th at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, 18320 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Crawford County (for the Marquette Hospice House), 766 Liberty Street, Meadville, PA 16335
