M. Arlene Flaugh

M. Arlene Flaugh, 102, of Meadville, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born April 2, 1917 in Springboro, a daughter of Ralph and Emma Lewis Palmer.  She married Donald O. Flaugh April 13, 1940 and he preceded her in death August 18, 1986.  She subsequently married Lester Ketcham in October 1988 and he preceded her in death September 7, 2003.

Arlene attended Conneaut Lake public schools and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, former Spencer Hospital Auxiliary and hospital volunteer for many years.  She enjoyed golfing and swimming, including many swims across Conneaut Lake over the years.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Burt of Billings, MT; four grandchildren, Susan Knox (Norm) of Billings, MT, Thomas Burt of Tampa, FL, Kelly Lovato (Andy) of Cheyenne, WY and Kristen Seneca of San Antonio, TX; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Palmer; two sisters, Pauline Roberts and Shirley Cleland; and a son-in-law, Jack Burt.

Calling hour will be Thursday, April 25th from 12-1 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Sarah Roncolato, Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
