M. Jane Leeper

M. Jane Leeper, of Meadville, died Saturday, February 21, 1998, at Wesbury United Methodist Community, following a short illness.

She was born in Sandy Lake, a daughter of Wesley G. and Minnie L. Reinhart Patton.  She married Kenneth W. Leeper, February 22, 1939 and he preceded her in death January 6, 1993.

She was a graduate of Sandy Lake High School, a member of the Mead Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  She had been employed for many years as a school crossing guard in the City of Meadville.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Kendra) Ploski of Meadville and Mrs. John (Tallye) McCall of Dayton, OH and three grandchildren, Dr. Tracey McCall and Kim Cheung of Springfield, IL, Scott McCall of Tallahassee, FL and Garth and Erica Ploski of Meadville.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lina Jenkins and two brothers, D. A. and Gerald Patton.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
