M. Jesse Anderson

M. Jesse Anderson, 26, of Conneaut Lake and a student at Edinboro University of PA, died unexpectedly at home, Wednesday, August 15, 2012.

He was born November 29, 1985 in Greenville a son of Mark W. and Jean Yalenty Anderson.

He was a 2004 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and was majoring in Photography and Fine Arts at Edinboro University.  While in school he has worked at Hetrick’s in Conneaut Lake, as a Unit Manager at Bethesda Children’s Home in Meadville, at Perkins Restaurant in Edinboro and as a bartender at Edinboro Lanes.

Jesse was a very skilled photographer and a brilliant artist and illustrator.  His work was featured at gallery showings at Edinboro University and in Pittsburgh.  He was going to have his first solo showing this November at Basement Transmissions in Erie.  He was also an avid writer having written one book and was nearly finished with his second book.  He was also the lead singer in the heavy metal band Pangaea.  He will be deeply missed by his family who will remember him for his passion and intensity for everything he undertook as well as his sense of humor and irreverent nature.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Anderson of Tucson, AZ; his father, Mark W. Anderson of Wexford, PA; his brother, Joe Anderson and his wife Jessica of Hartstown; his sister, Elizabeth Anderson Gregor and her husband Kris of Vail, AZ; two nephews, Andrew and Jack Gregor; his dog, Dante, several aunts, uncles and cousins and many good friends.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 1 p.m. at the Waid-Colman Funeral Home, Inc. 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.
