M. Lucille Terrill

M. Lucille Terrill, 79, formerly of Guys Mills, died Tuesday, January 5, 1999 at the Caring Place, Franklin, where she had resided since April 1997.

She was born August 28, 1919 in Cooperstown, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Dille Overmoyer.  She married Merton J. Terrill August 19, 1939.  He preceded her in death June 29, 1994.

She worked at Talon as a machine operator.  She was an avid seamstress, quilt maker, and gardener.  She was asociated with Sugar Lake United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Elaine) Van Cise of Durham, NC; two sons, Larry R. Terrill of Bloomingdale, IL and Bruce E. Terrill of Otis Orchards, WA; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, George Overmoyer of Cooperstown and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marian Terrill; a grandson, Scott Terrill; four sisters, Iva Deeter, Cora Howe, Maybelle Deeter and Anna Overmoyer and three brothers, Walter, Howard and Barnie Overmoyer.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
