Mabel G. Foulk

March 25, 1903 — March 8, 1992

Mabel G. Foulk, 88, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since December 1989, died at Meadville Medical Center Sunday, March 8, 1992, following a brief illness.

She was born in Guys Mills, March 25, 1903, a daughter of Raymond E. and Caroline Graham Smith.  She married Rev. Walter F. Foulk September 1, 1926.  He survives.

She taught school for three years in Randolph Township and Oil City.  She operated the Mt. Hope Store with her husband for 10 years.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, and taught Sunday School for more than 30 years.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, John R. Foulk of Meadville; a sister, Beatrice Mook of Cochranton; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two grandsons and three sisters, Lorena Smith, Nellie Donnell and Beulah Schroer.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
