Mae A. Brown

Mae A. Brown, 86, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community for the past eight years, died Friday, February 20, 1987, at Wesbury following a period of failing health.

Miss Brown was born in West Mead Township, November 22, 1900, a daughter of William and Pauline DeMaison Brown.

She had been employed as a housekeeper.  She also was a clerk at the former Kaufman's Grocery Store.  She was a member of St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church and the church's Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include one nephew, Gerald Brown of Erie; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lester, Paul and Elmer Brown.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
