Mae Alberta Dietrich

November 22, 1911 — November 21, 2001

Mae Alberta Dietrich, 89, of Hartstown, died Wednesday, November 21, 1911, at her home.

Born in Hartstown, November 22, 1911, she was a daughter of Harry N. and Della Ernst Ellis.  She married Norman W. Dietrich, who preceded her in death in 1974.  Her former husband, Kenneth B. Baker died in 1981.

She had worked at Talon, Inc. of Meadville and retired from Molded Fiberglass of Linesville in 1976 after 22 years of service.

She was of the Presbyterian Faith.  A member of Linesville Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 7842, she was a former member of Conneaut Lake Park Fire Hall and Conneaut Lake Fire Hall.  She was one of the founders and first president of Hartstown Fire Department Ladies Aux.

She enjoyed cooking and baking pies and cakes.  She also enjoyed dancing, roller-skating and socializing with her many friends.

Survivors include two sons, Charles B. (Chick) Baker of Jamestown and Pat Baker of Holly, NC; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a twin sister, Mabelle Buckley of Greenville and two nieces.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
