Malcolm D. Davis, 61, of Meadville, died at Mead Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 1, 1973, after a five-month illness.
Born in Meadville, December 22, 1911, he was a son of George and Anna May Davis. He married Harriet Braymer in 1938 and was employed as a quality inspector at Talon Division of Textron, where he worked for 39 years. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the Slide Fastener Union.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn of Pittsburgh; two sons, Malcolm, Jr. of Meadville and Dennis of Woodhaven; six sisters, Mrs. Ann Mullins, Mrs. William (Gloria) Lyons, Mrs. William (Mildred) Rodgers, Mrs. Andrew (Eva) Teittelbaum, all of Philadelphia, Mrs. John (Ruth) Zimmerman of Tucson, AZ and Mrs. Jospeh (Shelia) Linz of Meadville; and two brothers, Richard of Erie and William P. of Meadville. He also had three grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
