Manley B. Mclamb

Manley B. McLamb, 84, of Meadville, died at Meadville Medical Center on Sunday, January 20, 1991, after an illness of a year.

She was born in Shallotte, NC, June 20, 1906, a son of George W. and Geneva Mintz McLamb.  He married Hedwig (Harriet) Thiess, April 9, 1933.  She survives.

He was owner and operator of McLamb's Auto Service from 1933 until 1987.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mrs. Judith Edminster of Stroudsburg; a son, Dr. James R. McLamb of Meadvillle; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Harvell of Bolivia, NC; a brother, Fred McLamb of Collins, MS; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Collins McLamb and a sister, Mary McLamb.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
