Margaret (Deissler) Andrews

Mrs. Margaret Andrews, 88, of Clark Street, died Wednesday, January 5, 1966, at Columbus, OH, where she had been visiting, following an illness of five weeks.

She was born in Meadville April 11, 1877, a daughter of Frank K. and Margretha Ehmann Deissler.  On October 14, 1896, she married Silas M. Andrews, descendant of a pioneer Meadville family.  He died in 1942.

Mrs. Andrews was a member of High Street United Presbyterian Church, Conneaut Lake, and of its Women's Missionary Society.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Helen Gibson of Scarsdale, NY, Mrs. Frances Readio of Meadville and Mrs. Robert H. (MayBelle) Ewing of Columbus; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edward Andrews of Youngstown, OH; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  A son, Edward, died in 1950.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home with Rev. Roy J. Stewart, officiating.

Interment was in Watson Run Cemetery.
