Margaret B. Fordyce, 90, of Meadville, died Thursday, may 24, 2001 at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born August 9, 1910 in Howland Corners, OH, a daughter of the late David S. and Margaret Anderson Fordyce.
She was a 1928 graduate of Meadville High School and a 1930 graduate of Meadville Commercial College earning a degree in bookkeeping. She worked as a bookkeeper at the former Keystone View Company for 43 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Golden Crown Chapter, Order of Eastern Star and AARP.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, its Joy Circle, and former Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include one sister, Ida Bean (Dr. Carl) of Butler; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mrs. Leon (Jessie) Bausman, Betty Fordyce and Helen Fordyce; and one brother, Alec Fordyce.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
