Margaret Benn Barton

Margaret Benn Barton, widow of the late William Barton, died Wednesday, February 15, 1939 at the home of her sister, Mrs. Sarah L. Arhturs, West Mead Township, the day following her 92nd birthday.

She was born in Troy Township on February 14, 1847, the daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth Winton Benn, early settler of Troy Township.

Mrs. Barton was the mother of five children, all deceased, but is survived by seven grandchildren and the one sister, with whom she made her home.  She was a member of the United Brethren Church at Maple Hill.

Services were held at the Maple Hill Church.

Interment was in Maple Hill Church Cemetery.
