Margaret Bogardus

Mrs. Margaret Bogardus, 92, of Meadville, died Friday, May 9, 1969, at Spencer Hospital.  Mrs. Bogardus had been in failing health for several months.

She was born in Black Ash, Randolph Township, on September 17, 1876, a daughter of Marcus and Lizzie French Bogardus.  On January 15, 1893, she married Elmer Bogardus who died June 5, 1931.

Mrs. Bigardus was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Twila) Osten of Meadville; a son, Myron Bogardus of Meadville; two brothers, Glenn Bogardus of Clarence Center, NY and Earl Bogardus of Auburn, NY; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Service were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Black Ash Cemetery.
