Margaret C. "Marge" Brown

Margaret C. “Marge” Brown, 74 of Grove City, passed away on March 6, 2020, at AHN Grove City. Marge was born in Pittsburgh on June 6, 1945, to the late William and Josephine (Sokol) Gallagher. She was a graduate of Mount Alvernia School in Millvale. Marge worked for many years at the Duquesne Club as the housekeeping manager. Marge was known as a caregiver, always caring for her children, grandchildren, and her parents. She enjoyed puzzles, getting her hair done, and going for drives. She enjoyed baking, especially her families’ favorite, her brownie cookies. She was also a member and past president of the Eagles Club in Grove City. Marge is survived by her daughters, Vicki Clore and husband Robert of Conneaut Lake, Lisa Milich and companion Ed Hodge of Mercer, and Kelly Novak and companion Jack Hardesty of Franklin, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and sister Jackie Arthur and husband Dan of NC. In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her brother, Pat Gallagher. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
