Margaret Dreisbach

Margaret Dreisbach, 77, of Conneaut Lake and formerly of Meadville, died unexpectedly at her home Wednesday, May 9, 2001.

She was born in Brookville, April 25, 1924 a daughter of Make and Anna Swanciger Popson.  She married Alfred H. Dreisbach, June 30, 1940 and he preceded her in death January 26, 1980.

From 1946 to 1982, she was operator and co-owner with her husband of Dreisbach Restaurant in Meadville.  In her retirement, she worked briefly at the Lamplighter Restaurant and the Villa Restaurant.

She was a graduate of Brookville High School and she enjoyed her family and gardening.

Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Miller (Tracy) of Polk, Shirley Schlosser (Ronald) of Saegertown, Sydney Neff (Eddie) of Lewisville, TX and Sharon Stang (Robert) of Conneaut Lake; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a sister and two brothers.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyson Schlosser and several brothers and sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
