Margaret E. Hubbard

Mrs. Margaret E. Hubbard, 87, formerly of Oil City and a resident of United Methodist Home and Nursing Hospital since August 1979, widow of Charles D. Hubbard, died at City Hospital Saturday, January 7, 1984, after an extended illness.

She was born at Union City, Erie County, September 8, 1896, a daughter of James and Martha Church Carnahan.  She married Mr. June 21, 1919.  He died January 21, 1951.

She was a retired office employee, having worked at Pennzoil Co., Oil City, and also gave private dance instruction for several years.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Oil City.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery.
