Margaret G. Knierman

Margaret G. (Honey) Knierman, 77, of Meadville and formerly of Conneaut Lake, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Meadville Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Homewood, May 6, 1930, a daughter of the late Arthur Thomas and Lucille Agnes O'Connor Moore.  She married Cecil C. (Huck) Knierman June 25, 1957 and he preceded her in death December 4, 1987.

She was a homemaker for most of her life and later was employed by Pizza Hut as a cook until her retirement.  She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, her dog Ginger and being with her family.  She loved spending time with and babysitting her great-grandchildren.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include four daughters, Jeanette Arnold of Conneaut Lake, Allison Chess (Dennis) of Conneaut Lake, Ida Ryder (Steve) of Hughesville and Mary Knierman (Dan) of Meadville; three grandchildren, Brandy Grinnell (Bruce) of Conneaut Lake, Stacy Richter (Jay) of Cochranton and Mark Arnold (Jen) of Chardon, OH; three great-grandchildren, Brandon and Carly Richter and Madalyn Grinnell; and nine nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Amory Finan and Mary Rose Harvey and a brother, Thomas Arthur Moore.

Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Philip's Cemetery, Linesville.
