Margaret H. Mcbride

Mrs. Margaret H. McBride, 94, a resident of the Methodist Home for the Aged, for the past 19 years, died Saturday, August 29, 1970, at City Hospital.  She had been in the hospital for two weeks and was under nursing care at the home for several years.

Mrs. McBride was born in Pittsburgh, November 3, 1875, a daughter of David B. and Anna McKelvey Morrison.  She married Oliver L. McBride in January 1897.  He preceded her in death.

She had been director of Camp Leale for the girls Rockaway Beach, MO, for 14 years.  Mrs. McBride attended high school at Kansas City, MO and had lived in that state for 60 years before returning to Pennsylvania in 1946.  She was a member of the Clarendon United Methodist Church in Warren County.

Surviving are a son, Herbert L., Warren, three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakland Cemetery, Warren.
