Margaret H. Stewart

Margaret Hilton Stewart, 81, of Cochranton died Thursday, June 06, 2013 surrounded by her family at the Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.

She was born in Manchester, England, November 29, 1931 a daughter of Stanley and Madeleine Hilton.  She married Raymond A. Stewart, April 19, 1952 and he survives.

She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Meadville.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, Raymond of 61 years, include: four children, Gary Stewart and his wife Lauren of Madison, OH, Laurie Mai and her husband Martin of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Tim Stewart and his wife Mary of Cochranton and Ann King and her husband Michael of Rochester, NY; ten grandchildren, Michael Stewart, Gregory Stewart, Matthew Stewart, Gabrielle Mai, Will Mai, Maura Stewart, Katie Stewart, Daniel Stewart, Bryan King and Laurie King and a sister, Doreen Smith of Manchester, England.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Meadville, 346 Chestnut Street, Meadville with Rev. Carmen Emerson, officiating.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Meadville, 346 Chestnut Street or the Meadville Public Library, 848 N. Main Street, both of Meadville, PA 16335.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
