Margaret Inman Ellis

Margaret Inman Ellis, 85, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community, widow of Fred Ellis, died Monday, December 30, 1985, at Wesbury following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Oil City, November 24, 1900, a daughter of Edward Ray and Laura Sheldon Inman.  She married Mr. Ellis in April 1938.  He died in June 1953.

Mrs. Ellis worked for 40 years in the advertising business for Kudner Agency Inc. of New York City.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women organization.  She graduated from Franklin Public Schools in 1919 and formerly was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Frances) David of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
