Margaret M. Dickinson

Margaret (Peggy) M. Dickinson, 66, of Spring Hill, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 9, 2011.  She courageously fought her battle with multiple myeloma and with dignity she succumbed at Meadville Medical Center.

She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Dickinson, whom she married June 28, 1986.  Also survived by a daughter, Jennie Basco, sons Shane and Michael Hajjar, stepsons, Frank, Paul and Karl Dickinson stepdaughter, Maria Ellis, 21 adoring grandchildren, sister, Mary Mayeux, and brother, Doug Keener.  She will be dearly missed by her family and devoted friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Velma Keener and 2 sisters, Patty and Kathy.

Peggy was a 1962 graduate of Harvey High School, Painesville, OH and attended Lakeland Community College and The Ohio State University.  She and Fred  were longtime members of the Fairport Harbor Yacht Club where she proudly served 2 years as president of the ladies auxiliary.

There are no calling hours or services.  In accordance with her wishes, there will be a celebration of life gathering announced at a later date.
