Margaret W. Hunter

Margaret W. Hunter, of Meadville, died Saturday, January 28, 1995 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, following a brief illness.

She was born in Meadville the daughter of August R. and Austa Ford Wolff.  She married Charles C. Hunter July 5, 1932.  He preceded her in death November 7, 1984.

She worked for many years at Wolff's hardware.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.  She also was past Worthy Matron of Golden Crown Chapter, Order of Eastern Star and former Mother Advisor to the Rainbow Girls.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia McElhaney of Barrington, IL and Jill Hunter of Toronto, Ont.; a son, Jack B. Hunter of Conneaut Lake; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Jim Wolff.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
