Margery J. Hogue

Margery J. Hogue, 93, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Rolling Fields.

She was born June 9, 1926, in Philipsburg, a daughter of Arthur W. and Emma B. Berg Lukens.  She married Robert J. Hogue December 15, 1945 and he preceded her in death June 23, 1987.

Margery was a 1944 graduate of Philipsburg High School.  She was a production worker at American Viscose for 21 years.  She was of the Lutheran faith.

Margery enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and reading.  She especially enjoyed her family and the time she spent with them.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Bilunka of Meadville and Darlene Herman of Jamestown, PA; four grandchildren, John “Rob” Herman, Jolene Resele, Amiee Herman, and Charyn Parsons; one great-grandson, Austin Yurisic; two great-great-granddaughters, Layla and Oaklyn; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight brothers, four sisters, a great-granddaughter, Summer Parsons, and a son-in-law, John Herman.

Services are private.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
