Margie H. Holland

Margie H. Holland, 92, a former Grove City resident and current resident of Meadville Care Center since 1989, died there Friday, February 24, 1995, following a period of declining health.

She was born in Stoneboro, Mercer County, on February 7, 1903, a daughter of Thomas and Susan Yeats Harrison.  She was married to Arthur Holland, who preceded her in death on August 8, 1979.

She was a graduate of Slippery Rock State Teachers College after which she taught for several years in Aliquippa, then subsequently became a homemaker.  She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and White Shrine, both of Philadelphia.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Pyle, Ethel Harrison and Hazel Adamson; and three brothers, James, Howard and Harry Harrison.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
