Marian E. Jannot

Marian E. Jannot, 72, of Meadville, died Saturday, September 29, 1990, at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, following a sudden illness.

She was born in Meadville, January 29, 1918, a daughter of Ralph and Lulu Ross Minnis.  She married LeRoy Jannot on March 30, 1940.  He preceded her in death on July 7, 1978.

She was retired from Montgomery Ward, having worked in the service department, and in retirement worked part-time at the switchborad of the Meadville Tribune.  She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.  She was an active member of the Vernon Central VFD Aux., a member of the Meadville Senior Center and the American Assn. of Retired Persons.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald F. Jannot of Mt. Vernon, OH, Donald L. Jannot of Harmonsburg and Robert P. Jannot of Meadville; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Minnis.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
