Marian E. Pusbach) Trace

Marian E. Pardee Pusbach Trace, 86, of Meadville died Tuesday, January 05, 2016 at Rolling Fields, Conneautville. She was born at home in Guys Mills, April 15, 1929 a daughter of Rolla H. and Gracia Graham Pardee. She first married Robert J. Pusbach and subsequently married Fred B. Trace, Jr. November 22, 1977 and he survives. She was a 1946 graduate of Meadville High School and retired as secretary of the City of Meadville Streets and Parks Department after 16 years of service. She previously had worked at West Ridge Transportation Co., Talon Inc., American Viscose, Meadville City Lines, Meadville Travel and the Meadville Tribune. She was a member of the Eat and Travel Club, enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, knitting, reading, crossword puzzles and vacations at Pymatuning State Park in Andover, OH. She also enjoyed attending reunions with members of the Theta Rho Girls Club and Active Aging functions. She also loved her cats. Survivors, in addition to her husband Fred of 38 years, include: four daughters, Susan Pusbach of Meadville, Nancy McWilliams of Meadville, Linda Reagle and her husband Richard of Meadville and Carol Mascitti and her companion Steve Schlipf of Meadville; a son, Daniel Pusbach and his wife Cynthia of California; six grandchildren, Steven McWilliams, Frank Mascitti and his wife Jennifer, Devanie Coudriet, Joseph Pusbach, Michael Pusbach and Tiffany Pusbach; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Arden G. Pardee of Guys Mills; a sister-in-law, Virginia Pardee of Geneva; devoted and cherished friends, Alma and John Foulk of Meadville and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Smith and Alice Moore; four brothers, Victor, Chester, Charles and Richard Pardee and her former husband, Robert J. Pusbach. Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Rebecca Lash, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Suprys and the staffs at Rolling Fields and Juniper Village for the wonderful care that their mother received. They would also like to suggest memorials be made to the Active Aging Foundation, 1034 Park Avenue or Humane Society of Crawford County, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, both Meadville, PA 16335.
