Marian J. Palmer, 79, of Meadville, died suddenly at home Friday, September 25, 1981, following a period of failing health.
She was born in Woodcock Borough, July 3, 1902, a daughter of Irvan and Clare Chamberlain Townley. She had been married to Walter Palmer who preceded her in death.
She was employed in the production department at Talon Inc. for 34 years. In her early life, she was employed as a legal secretary. She graduated from Meadville Commercial College.
Mrs. Palmer attended Stone United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Shirley) Olscheske of Dayton, OH and Mrs. Dolores Seeley and Mrs. Marian Triola, both of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Pat (Ruth) Miniaci of Findley Lake, NY; a brother, Merle Townley of Cambridge Springs; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Gravel Run Cemetery.
