Marian M. Murray

Marian M. Murray, 93, formerly of Beaver and Conneaut Lake, and current resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since January 1995, died there, Monday, October 14, 1996.

She was born July 14, 1903 in Oil City a daughter of the late Charles A. and Jenny West Munson.  She married W. Sackett Murray.  He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Murray was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.  She retired in 1965 as a teacher and attendance officer at Meadville High School.  She previously taught at Midland High School.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Conneaut Lake and was a former adult Sunday School class teacher there for many years.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. THomas (Betty) Davidson of Stuart, FL; one nephew and six nieces.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Charles Munson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
