Marian P. Himes

Marian P. Himes, 81, of Wesbury United Methodist Community since October 1982, formerly of Kane, a registered nurse, died Friday, June 19, 1992, at Wesbury, after a brief illness.

She was born in Altoona, October 5, 1910, a daughter of Joseph C. and Lillie Olive Dell Patton.  She married Robert K. Himes, September 27, 1941.  He preceded her in death September 4, 1991.

She worked for several years as a registered nurse and later was a homemaker.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.

Survivors include a niece, Joann Hartzell of Glendale, AZ and two cousins, Esther Linquist of Jefferson City, MO and Ruth Reed of Binghamton, NJ.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Erie.
