Marian R. Trace

Marian R. Trace, 79, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Meadville, died at the Bethesda Dilworth Home at St. Louis Saturday, November 24, 1979.

She was born at Chester, WV, on November 27, 1899, daughter of George H. and Margaret Clay Johnston.  She married Fred B. Trace on June 12, 1924.  Trace died June 4, 1977.

She was a graduate of the University of West Virginia and worked as an elementary school teacher early in her life.

She is survived by two sons, James J. of St. Louis and Fred B. of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Fox and Mrs. Dorothy Armstrong, both of Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Hilary Johnston of Chester, WV and Richard Johnston of Phoenix, AZ and six grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
