Marie Hunter

Mrs. Marie Hunter, 81, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital Wednesday, March 14, 1973 after a long illness.

Born at Blooming Valley on June 24, 1891,  a daughter of Fred F. and Janette Unger Schwavey.  She married Mr. Solomon Hunter in 1928.

Mrs. Hunter was employed by Meadville Telephone Co. for 36 years, retiring as chief operator.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three nieces, Mrs. Gerald (Zella) Young and Mrs. Leonard (Hazel) McLaughlin, both of Meadville and Mrs. Virgil (Norma) Baloun of Parma Heights, OH and several cousins.

A brother, Charles Schwavey, preceded her in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
