Marie S. Smith

Marie S. Smith, 96, was a member of Christ Church Episcopal and the Meadville Women's Club.

Smith, a resident of Hillside Home of Meadville, died Thursday, August 25, 1994, at the nursing home following a period of declining health.

She was born in Indianapolis, IN, March 24, 1898, a daughter of James N. and Ida Allison Steele.  She married William Edward Boger in 1930.  He preceded her in death in 1960.  She subsequently married Floyd G. Smith in 1963.  He preceded her in death April 7, 1976.

Survivors include five stepgranddaughters, including Marilyn Hurlbut and Barbara Williams.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
