Marijane Boehm

March 17, 1948 — May 2, 2003

Marijane Boehm, 85, formerly of Conneaut Lake, died Friday, May 2, 2003 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community following a period of declining health.

She was born in Summit Township, Crawford County, a daughter of the late Robert Murrell and Mary Elinor Stewart Ackinclose.  She married John Trubic and subsequently married Rudolph P. Boehm March 17, 1948 and he preceded her in death May 10, 1972.

She competed on the Strong Vincent High School swim team and subsequently graduated from Meadville High School.  A lifeguard at Conneaut Lake Park in her earlier years, she was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, and being with her grandchildren.  She was a member of Greenwood Township and Vernon Central Volunteer Fire Departments.

She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include 4 sons, Stewart Trubic and his wife Diane of Meadville; Randolph Boehm and his wife Jeannine of Cochranton; Byron Boehm and his wife Marlene of Erie; and Burt Boehm of Seattle, WA; a daughter, Eloise Boehm of Meadville; 5 grandchildren, Jay Trubic, Jeffrey, Jonathon, and Nora Boehm, and Craig Frisina; and 6 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Loisann Frisina; a brother, Stewart Ackinclose; and a sister, Lois Johns.

Calling hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville followed by a memorial service at 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenwood Township Volunteer Fire Department, 15444 State Hwy 285, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
