Marilyn J. Armstrong, 75 of Sandy Lake Twp, Stoneboro, passed away on April 18, 2021 at AHN Grove City. Marilyn was born in Grove City on November 29, 1945 to the late Raymond and Florence (Thompson) Snyder. She worked for many years as a Census Worker, a Homemaker for her family, and as a receptionist at Walker Chevrolet in Sandy Lake. She married her beloved husband, William “Bill” W. Armstrong on May 23, 1970, he survives at home. Marilyn loved to travel and was able to make trips to 49 states, only missing Hawaii. She and her husband enjoyed many Anderson bus trips together and she enjoyed many on her own. Marilyn and Bill also enjoyed many trips across the country with their two sons. Marilyn attended the Oak Grove Church for many years. In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her sons, Willie Armstrong of Apollo and Brent Armstrong of Harmonsburg, granddaughters Trista and Trianna Armstrong, and sister Connie Rider and husband Bruce of Harrisville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 11 am – 12 pm on Thursday, April 22. A service will follow visitation at the funeral home at 12 pm with the Rev. Randy Ritchey officiating. Private interment will take place in Hendersonville Cemetery.
