Marilyn Marie Burdick Reynolds

Marilyn Marie Burdick Reynolds, 68, of Cambridge Springs, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center after fighting a long courageous battle with stage 4 breast cancer.

She was born September 25, 1953 in Meadville to Leon and Nancy Burdick.  She married Jim Reynolds April 27, 1975.

Marilyn was a 1971 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and a graduate of Erie Business Center.  She loved her Lord and Savior and enjoyed ministering to people and using her voice to sing His praises and her hands to lift Him up playing the piano and attended the First United Methodist Church in Cambridge Springs.

She is survived by her husband Jim; her mother, Nancy Burdick; her brothers, Leon Burdick (Wendy) and Doug Burdick (Sue); her sisters, Karen Martin and Debbie Ransom (Denny); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother-in-law, Craig Martin.

Calling hour will be Thursday, July 21st from 1-2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 326 S. Main St., Cambridge Springs where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Peters, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Miller’s Station Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, PA 16335 or First United Methodist Church, 326 S. Main St., Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.

The family wishes to thank all of those at Barco Oncology Institute and The Vernon Place Physical Therapy for all they have done for Marilyn throughout this four year journey.  Marilyn so loved each and every one of them and praised their caring and compassionate ways always.  We would also like to thank her classmates for staying in touch and helping her in many ways during this time.  A big thank you to those we are not even aware of that continually sent cards filled with gift cards to brighten her day.
