Mrs. Marion E. Gage, 88, of Corry, died Saturday, January 13, 1979, at City Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born in Atwood, KA, September 27, 1890, a daughter of John B. and Clara Ewing McCullough. She had been married to Otto Gage who preceded her in death. She had taught school in the Corry area for 38 years. She was associated with the United Methodist Church. She graduated in 1912 from the former Edinboro State Normal School. She was a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and a member of the Pennsylvania Retired Teachers Assn.
Survivors include two sons, Elwyn O. Gage of San Luis Obisbo, CA and Wendell E. Gage of Corry; two sisters, Miss Jeanette McCullough of Meadville and Mrs. Grace Oaks of Cambridge Springs; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
