Marion M. Gilbert

Marion M. Gilbert, 75, of Meadville, a GTI inspector, died Thursday, April 7, 1994, at Meadville Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born in Franklin, May 8, 1918, a daughter of Charles and Nora Hennan Hammer.  She married Robert C. Gilbert, May 25, 1940.  He preceded her in death January 9, 1981.

She was an inspector for GTI Corp. of Saegertown for 15 years.  She previously was employed at Westinghouse Corp. of Meadville.  She was a member of Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church of Saegertown.  She was a member of the Saegertown American Legion Aux. and a 50 year member of the 500 Card Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Roberta Wronek and Karen Gilbert of Meadville; a son, Robert C. Gilbert, Jr. of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Toots) Bushnell of Franklin, Wanda Luikart and Geraldine Peters, both of Saegertown; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
