Marion “Rick” Rhome, age 72, of Franklin, PA, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion. Rick was born in Monongahela, PA and was a 1971 graduate of Lakeview High School. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Debbie; his son, JR (Greg); daughter, Renee; cherished grandsons, Pablo and Sebastian; his sister, Carolyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Elva; his brothers , Rob, Terry, and Mike; and his sister, Rita.
Rick had a lifelong passion for classic cars, and his remarkable talent for auto body paint work was celebrated in Hot Rod magazine. Known for his sharp wit and ability to make anyone laugh, Rick’s humor brightened the lives of all who knew him.
Beyond his love for cars and laughter, Rick was deeply devoted to his faith, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses; a commitment that spanned over 55 years. His unwavering spirituality was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him and providing strength to those around him.
Rick’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to experience his warmth and humor. He will be greatly missed but forever remembered.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, PA 16153. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11 AM at the Franklin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 1410 Pittsburgh Rd, Franklin, PA.
