Marjorie B. Schroeder

March 17, 1923 — December 21, 2020

Marjorie B. Schroeder, 97, of Meadville, passed away of natural causes on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born March 17, 1923 in Randolph Township, Crawford County, a daughter of George Leon and Lena E. Medo Berly.  She married John G. Schroeder September 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death January 8, 1996.

Marjorie was a graduate of Randolph High School.  She worked at Talon and subsequently retired from Fisher Big Wheel in 1987.

Marjorie was a member of St. Agatha Church and its Altar Rosary Society.  She was an avid cat lover.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, John Berly (Kim) of Meadville, Wayne Berly (Judy) of Aurora, CO, Janet Barbario of New Jersey and additional nieces and nephews on the Schroeder side of the family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Bernard, Ernest and infant twins Merle and Earl Berly; and a sister, Eleanor Berly.

A private funeral service will be held at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas officiating.

Interment will be in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine St. or the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd., both of Meadville, PA 16335.
