Marjorie Burdick Phillips

Marjorie Burdick Phillips, 91, of Meadville and formerly of Sun City, CA, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Marquette Hospice House.
She was born July 10, 1925 in Rockdale Township, Crawford County, a daughter of Leon and Cecil Thomas Burdick. She married Charles H. Phillips March 25, 1967 who survives and they proudly celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March.
Marjorie was employed as a nurse’s aide at the Rosario Nursing Home in Cambridge Springs for several years. She was the proud wife of a World War II Veteran and career Navy serviceman.
Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Charles of 50 years, include a son, David Morse; a granddaughter, Melissa Morse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Following interment at Miller’s Station Cemetery, Rockdale Township, Crawford County, a memorial service will be Saturday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Watson Run Church of God, 9985 S. Watson Run Rd., Meadville with Pastor Andy Robertson, Family Pastor, officiating.
