Marjorie (Midge) B. (Beardsley) Kneeland

Marjorie Kneeland, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 18, 2018 at her residence in Meadville.  She was born in Princeton, Massachusetts on October 10, 1929.  For 56 years, she was married to Karl Kneeland until his death in 2003.  In 1956 Marjorie and Karl Kneeland, along with their 2 children, moved from the New England area to Meadville, PA.  Marjorie worked at the David Meade Inn, GTI Corp., Rusco Corp., and as a receptionist for Dr. Guanzon, a local physician.  She was a lifetime auxiliary member of the local VFW post.  She and her husband enjoyed traveling and went on numerous western adventures and trips back to New England to visit family.  In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and baking.  For many years she provided domiciliary care for special needs individuals through the ARC of Crawford County.  Along with her husband, Karl, Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Brooke, her sister Charlotte, and her brother Nate.  She is survived by her son, Stephen (Mary), daughter, Laurie, 2 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.  A private family service is planned.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W.
