Marguerite L. (Peg) Wampler, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Meadville, died Sunday, August 8, 1993, at her home following a sudden illness. She was born in Marion, OH, a daughter of John and Ada Ryder Keeler. She married Samuel J. Wampler in 1948. He preceded her in death August 27, 1958. She was employed in real estate sales for Century 21 in St. Petersburg. She was the administrator for the Hillside Home, Meadville, during the 1960s, and also was a former seamstress for Al's Clothing Shop, Meadville. She was a member of Passedena Community Methodist Church of St. Petersburg and a former member of Stone United Methodist Church, Meadville. She was past president and member of the Meadville City Hospital Junior Aux.; a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in St. Petersburg and a graduate of Marion-Harding High School, Marion, OH. Survivors include two sons, Shannon L. Wampler of Meadville and Jan W. Wampler of Jamaica Plain, MA; a step-daughter, Nellie Kelly of Ft. Myers, FL; two grandsons; a step-grandson; two granddaughters; two step-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a step-son, Jerry Wampler and a brother, Ralph Bond. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Greendale Cemetery. Services Past Services
