Mrs. Martha Gill Walker, mother of Talon president Lewis Walker, III, died Thursday morning, March 20, 1958, at City Hospital, where she had been a patient for 10 days.
A great-granddaughter of David Mead, founder of Meadville, she was the widow of Lewis Walker, Jr., son of Talon founder Col. Lewis Walker and a Talon vice president and director at the time of his death in 1935.
She was a daughter of William and Blanche S. Gill of Meadville and was a life-long resident of the community.
Mrs. Walker was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Surviving are two sons, Lewis and Robert Gill Walker, and ten grandchildren.
Robert Gill Walker is attached to the American Embassy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
