Martha Gleason Duerr

Martha Gleason Duerr, 90, formerly of Meadville and a current resident of Hurstbourne Care Center, Louisville, KY, died at her residence Saturday, December 4, 1999.

She was born June 19, 1909 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Fred and Henrietta Reiber Gleason.  She married John K. Duerr September 8, 1934 and he preceded her in death May 8, 1997.

She was a homemaker and member of the Meadville Garden Club and Antique Study Club.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Richard K. Duerr of Baton Rouge, LA and John C. Duerr of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Stephen Duerr, Michelle Gions and Martha Marie Duerr; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen H. Gleason and Lucille Duerr.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
