Martha Jean Peirson

Martha Jean Peirson, 69 of Elizabethton, TN, passed away on April 19, 2023 at Nugents Nursing Home in Hermitage. Martha was born on October 11, 1953 to the late Edgar and Yvonne (Poublon) Norris. She married her husband: Gerald Peirson on December 17, 1977, he preceded her in death. Martha worked as a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her niece: Shari (Scott) Shuffstall, great-nephew: Karter Norris, beloved dog: Suzie, and brother: Donald (Charlene) Norris.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her brothers: Robert & David Norris, and sister: Kathy Paris.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose And Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.

There will be no services as per Martha’s wishes.

Interment will take place next to her husband.
